Rising Appalachia Celebrates Launch of SynchBIG

Burner Americana vocalists Rising Appalachia bring their genre bending styles to the streets of Los Angeles on October 9th for a special event at Venice’s Full Circle (305 Rose Ave., Venice, CA 90291).   Whether crusading for awareness on California’s extreme drought, or some other conscious cause, Rising Appalachia is quickly becoming a force and voice of the enlightened music community.   Grounded by two sisters, Leah and Chloe, the Rising Appalachia band brings together a healthy medley of vocal harmonies over banjos, fiddles, drums, kalimbas, washboards and more.

Joining these heady roadsters is buzzing bluesy rocker Josh Royse, who also impresses with his lyrical content and has shared stages with B.B. King.  He will be showcasing material from his forthcoming EP, including hot single “Jolly Roger.”   You can buy fair trade tickets to this talent packed line-up here.

Rising Appalachia and Josh Royse are joined by a cast of support that includes Imagika Om, Mystic Pete’s Cello and Mustafa’s Word.  Om, over a decade deep into electronic music, composes earthy exotic beats that characterize her unique OMstep.  Mystic Pete is a man of spirit, and the host of “In A Dream” on KXLU on Saturdays at midnight.  On top of the stellar music and eclectic cast, there will be food trucks, a sponsored bike valet and plenty of celebrating, as Nicki Jack Music Publishing rejoices in the launch of synchBIG – a new, forward thinking, next generation synchronization licensing company.
