Psychedelic Sundays Brings Jam Scene to Little Tokyo

Local promoter Spin Cycle’s latest hippie hangout comes packaged for success in Los Angeles’ newly opened Moroccan Lounge (901 E. 1st St.).  With a happy hour kick-off at 4:20 pm. on Sunday November 12th, the vibe will be elevated before noodling supergroup KWeKO takes the stage.   Armed with talents from Umphrey’s McGee (Kris Myers – drums), The String Cheese Incident (Jason Hann – Percussion) and jazz assassins like Bill Evans (sax for Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock) and Hadrien Feraud (bass for John McLaughlin, Chick Corea) – KWeKO is destined to be sonically exotic.

Music goes from 5:30 to 10 pm.

Tickets are $17 in advance and $20 day of show.
