From headlining sets at the Lightning and Thunder Stages, to the house of The Woogie and curated, intimate vibes of Pagoda, Favela and Grand Artique — our quick festival guide will keep your LIB playlist tasty and leave you some time to cruise the grounds, check out the beautiful art installations and educate yourself at the Village and the Temple. Start your day with the Yoga of Bass before cruising the grounds for a few hours. Stop off to see DOT, the first lady of Team Supreme, at Pagoda Bar at 3:30 before catching the clever funk of Marian Hill at Lightning Stage at 4:10. Stick around for Raury at 5:30 or catch The Funkhunters bring it at Thunder Stage (and/or catch them again at Grand Artique at 1:45 am).
Enjoy a meal as the sun goes down before picking up for any one of the major stages with &Me at The Woogie, Mija at Thunder and Big Gigantic at Lightning Stage. Post Big G, William Close and The Earth Harp Collective and Grimes close out The Lightning Stage. Keep your party going all night with Stelouse at Pagoda and then The Funkhunters, Vokab Company and Cash Effect at the Grand Artique.
Survive Friday night until sunrise and you can dance your face off at the peak of the morning at The Woogie for a special Pumpkin Tribute set that begins a day dosed with a couple of memorials to the acorn lover. Soak in some education at The Temple and find some wellness for your body before getting down at 1:30 to either Gilligan Moss at the Thunder Stage or Justin Jay at The Woogie. Up and coming vocalist Erica Dee delivers some cuts from her recent self-release at 3:30 at Pagoda Bar. For happy hour – I recommend you get some heady jam vibes from Rubblebucket at Lightning Stage and then Pimps of Joytime at Grand Artique.
Hundred Waters provide a great soundtrack for slipping into the night. Coming off their experience at FORM Arcosanti, their sonic textures may be a little next level. The headliner parade sees us indulging in the queen of beats, TOKiMONSTA at Thunder Stage until about 12:30 before migrating to the Lightning Stage for Jamie XX. Post sonic climax – the vibes will be at Amori’s Casino for a continuous Pumpkin inspired jam and then some secret DJ sets at Pagoda Bar.

The final day of LIB is pretty lit with house and sexy sonics. Hit Woogie to dance it out until you can’t dance any more – warming up with Sabo & Goldcap around 1:30 and returning for another legendary set from Lee Burridge at The Woogie at 7:00, followed by Four Tet at midnight. In between – dust yourself up with some mid-day hip-hop from Everyman at Favela, the brooding vibes of Thriftworks at Thunder Stage or the acid funk of Russ Liquid at Lightning. Dimond Saints and Mr. Carmack will be sure to crush some stormy bass tones at Thunder Stage, while Moderat and Chet Faker take the rollercoaster from technically savvy to stylistically sexy to close things out at Lightning Stage. We recommend you take a final dosage of drops from Marquess Wyatt at Favela Bar before putting a finished stamp on LIB 2016.
Enjoy Bradley and drive safe!
