Lee “Scratch” Perry Dubs L.A.

The infamous Lee “Scratch” Perry descends on Los Angeles for two days of reggae flavored jams this week.  Wednesday night he gets intimate at Echoplex with the basement crowd that frequents DubClub and follows it up Thursday with a FREE concert on the Santa Monica Pier.

The Grammy award winning Jamaican dub legend’s fingerprints have been on records from everyone from Bob Marley and the Wailers to Max Romeo.  He was named one of the top 100 musicians by Rolling Stone in 2004 and a decade later — Los Angelenos have the chance to see him pull double duty on a Wednesday and Thursday.    Win tickets to the former show by emailing contest@supergoodmusic.com or tweeting out @supergoodmusic @theechoLA @scratchlee and catch him for FREE by the beach on Thursday night sometime between 7 and 10 pm.  Buy tickets for the Echoplex here for $15 ($20 day of show).
