Final Night of SXSW/Check Out Grape Vinyl

SXSW 2012 was amazing and exhausting. #BandPageHQ hosted by SUPERGOODMUSIC (@supergoodmusic), Heard Entertainment (heardent) and of course Bandpage (@bandpage) really rocked out – especially on its last night with The Service Company, Warp Records and Brainfeeder.

At the end of it all, SUPERGOODMUSIC founder Brandon Dorsky took a flight back from San Antonio to LA via Southwest. In a serendipitous turn of events, Kunal Anand – the creator of Grape Vinyl, one of the more awesome video blogs out there these days, sat down in the middle seat next to him and a friendship was born.
If you didn’t know about Grape Vinyl – its delivering new music video nuggets on a regular basis. This is a blog that is doing it right and looks good too. It even led me to stuff I should have already discovered myself – like this trippy cartoony Neon Indian “Fallout” video released in early February.
How I missed it – I don’t know. But Grape Vinyl didn’t – and that’s the point. I respect this blog and this blogger. Check out the video blog here and follow Kunal.
