Champion of The Word: Jeff “Passion” Weiss Hosts A Celebration of Beats and Rhymes

Jeff “Passion” Weiss is much more than the all-star behind the Passion of the Weiss blog and some of the better music articles and criticisms I’ve read in my time, he is also a passionate and fervent supporter of hip-hop and it’s culture.  His enthusiasm for music is no stunt, and it’s evidenced by the carefully curated line-up he put together for the POW Fest on September 6, 2015.   Featuring a set from Open Mike Eagle, one of the hotter underground MCs, as well as rumored VERY Special Guests and Low End Theory family Nocando and beat fiend Nadastrom – the line-up is undoubtedly sexy and verbally vicious.   Throw in Boogie, Saba, Chester Watson, Delroy Edwards, and The Outfix, TX and you have a healthy hip-hop party.    Tickets are only $23 for this most of Sunday extravaganza that kicks off at 4 pm – you can grab them here.   Feeling your stripes in the hip-hop game should earn you free admission – shout us out hip-hop style or share one of your favorite Passion of the Weiss articles via social media and tag @SUPERGOODMUSIC @TheEchoLA @Passionweiss.  Our favorite is his recent one on the final Dead shows...
