Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas

New York transplants and true funk fans probably already know about the legend that is the Brooklyn Bowl, but many west-coasters may not be familiar. Thankfully, the brilliant minds (or owners) have expanded their horizons to both London and Las Vegas. Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas opens its doors to the public come March – and tickets are already on sale to their inaugural season of shows.

Kicking things off will be the Bowlive extravaganza that features Soulive with George Porter Jr., Lettuce’s Nigel Hall and some special horns. One upping themselves – they’ve recruited the notorious late night band (and some of the best in the business) – The Roots to headline weekend 2, first with a solo show followed by two nights of co-billing with Elvis Costello. ┬áIf you’ve heard The Roots collabo with Costello, Wise Up Ghost, you’re likely already itching to attend.

The fierce schedule persists with stellar show after stellar show including three consecutive 4 night runs by Galactic, back to back Lettuce shows (just after they play The Roxy), weekend residencies in April from both Robert Randolph and the Family Band and Phil Lesh & Friends. There’s also one offs with Chance The Rapper, Bonobo, Big Gigantic and many more in the spring. You can check out the impressive line-up and link to buy tickets here.
